Welcome

Living Word is an exciting place to join with others on the journey of seeking our purpose in life. It’s a home for the whole family to learn about God in a way that is not only practical but also fun. We are serious about what the Bible says, serious about the truths that are found in it, and serious about following the Lord Jesus Christ. But we are also serious about experiencing, and celebrating life together.

The Bible says: “In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” (Romans 12:5)  In other words, through the love of Jesus, we are made one family. So what does the Living Word family look like? We are a purposely intergenerational group, celebrating the diversity of our lives together. Young, not so young, married, single, widowed, different ethnic backgrounds, different economic circumstances…all facets of life are represented in our family.

We seek to grow closer to God through worship, Bible study and prayer but also apply what we’ve learned to our day to day lives in a practical way. But growing in God is not just about us, we are enthusiastic about reaching the community and world around us with the Good News of life in Jesus Christ.

What is Living Word?  We are a Christ-centered community living in the 21st century here in West County; passionate about being responsive to the needs of the people around us and throughout the world.  We would like you to join us in this great adventure of being God’s representatives in the world.
