A four week sermon series on putting faith into action
August 31: “Love Deeper” - John 12:1-8
When your credit card is about to expire, the company will send you a new card with a sticker that tells you that you must call the 1-800 number in order to activate your card. Until you activate the card – you can impress your friends with your platinum card, but it’s good for nothing – until you take action to put it into service. The same is true for our love. We will explore three important steps to make certain that we put our love into action and love deeper.

Recently our own Kara Lindemann went to Swaziland as a medical missionary. Kara is going to share her story and her experience in Swaziland, how the love of God overcomes the fears we encounter as we seek to live out our faith.

Holy God of power and might, look upon me this day with mercy. Grant me the strength to quiet my soul before You that I might hear what You have to say. Worship Times
Worship is the most important ministry of our church, for worship defines who we are, and whose we are. Our Sunday morning services are a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, offering a powerful message of hope. All are welcome and encouraged to worship the Living Christ. -
8:00 a.m. - Traditional Communion Service
9:15 a.m. Traditional Service
10:45 a.m. Contemporary (G.A.P.) Service
Our G.A.P. (Glory and Praise) service features the very same message as the Traditional Service with a more informal atmosphere, contemporary Christian music, and a praise band.
Communion Services
10:20 a.m. - This Communion Service takes place every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month when Communion is served during the main worship services.
Alternative Worship Service
On Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. we offer an Alternative Worship Service called, ROOTS. ROOTS seeks to articulate meaningful differences between Sunday Morning Worship and Alternative Worship. The service is located in Room 214 and Childcare is provided.
Sunday School
Sunday School at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. for all ages (see the Children's, Youth, and Adult Ministries pages for more information). At Living Word, our Sunday School program is well organized and well attended! Children and youth attend classes corresponding to their age or grade level.
