Preschool

Nursery
Nursery is available for ages three and under during the 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. worship services.
We make minutes matter by providing a safe, loving environment for infants and toddlers during our worship services. Our parent paging system keeps you connected with your child’s needs while you connect with the Living Word of God.
Childcare is available for mid-week activities and events. Contact your ministry leader to discuss your childcare needs.
Sunday School
Kaleidoscope Kids (Pre-K) - 9:15 & 10:45 a.m.
Young ones enjoy discovering that God made them, God loves them and Jesus wants to be their friend forever through praise time, creative Bible stories, hands-on activities, small group sharing and play time with friends.
K2Crew Or Kairos 345 (Elementary) - 9:15 a.m.
Our elementary children hang with either the K2Crew for K-2nd grades or Kairos 345 for 3rd-5th grades where time with God is exciting as the Word of God comes alive and makes connections with their daily lives. We use praise & worship music, drama, props, storytelling, multimedia and small group mentors to help communicate God’s truth in ways that help children grow as followers of Jesus.
Live B.I.G. (Elementary) - 10:45 a.m.
Children will join together (K-5 upstairs in Room 205, Preschoolers in Room 111) to spend time learning about God is a great BIG God, God loves us with a great BIG love, and we are a part of God’s great BIG world! Using a variety of activities, all children have a fun time living their belief in God.
Elementary Small Groups
Get connected with our older elementary small group opportunities. Small groups provide a safe place for children to find answers to difficult faith questions and develop lasting Christian friendships.
3rd & 4th SERVE Group: Meets 2nd Sunday of the month from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
5th Grade Small Group: Meets 3rd Sunday of the month from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. in Room 205.

Meet Our Director
Sara Cleary recently joined Living Word as the Director of Children’s Ministries in May, 2009. Born and raised in central Missouri, Sara just relocated to the St. Louis area with her husband Aaron. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Child Life, from the University of Missouri-Columbia (go tigers!). After working with hospitalized children and their families, Sara felt a strong call to a life of Ministry with children. Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, walking their two dogs, and reading (especially Dr. Seuss). She is excited to call Living Word her new home.
