How to Share Your Faith
A Three Week Series on Honoring the Great Commission
July 11--- “Evangelism 101” Acts 8:26-40
Many of us are fearful to try and share our faith because we really do not know what that means. We all have images of what evangelism looks like when it is done wrong, and we fear coming across that way to other people. Today we are going to look at the very basics---what is evangelism, and how do we begin to do it as Jesus intended.
July 18---“Invite, Respect, Involve” John 1:35-42
Sharing our faith does not have to be frightening, it really is as easy as telling our story; but in order to do that we have to get to know the other person’s story. The response Christ wants most from us who have given ourselves to him, is to share his love through our actions, our attitudes, our relationships, and our verbal witness with others.
July 25---“Sharing is Caring” Luke 15:1-10
The one thing that matters most to God is people. People matter so much to God that when one lost person is found, all heaven rejoices and throws a party! There is more joy over one sinner coming to Jesus that over ninety-nine people being right where they’re supposed to be with God. If people matter this much to God, shouldn’t they matter this much to us? To share Jesus with another person is to show that person how deeply you care---how much they truly matter.
