Christian fellowship is very important to Living Word. We sponsor a regular monthly luncheon for the seniors on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 12:00 pm. After the meal, a speaker or program is presented that is entertaining and educational. These luncheons are a favorite and a great time for everyone. No registration is needed to attend the luncheon and there is no charge.
In addition to the monthly luncheons, there are monthly activities or outings, too. We are blessed to have many places to visit in the St. Louis area as well as many organizations we can support with our time.

The mission of the Mary Martha Circle is to lead women to serve Jesus Christ through mission work and to minister to each other through friendship, fellowship, and prayer.
History of Mary Martha Circle
The Mary Martha Circle was formed in October 1982 when we were then Ellisville United Methodist Church.
The focus of Mary Martha is mission and outreach – locally and internationally. Over the years, Mary Martha Circle has provided financial and physical support to: A missionary nurse in Africa, a Campus Crusade Representative on mission in Eastern Europe, The Ghana Project, Henderson Settlement in Kentucky, Festival of Sharing, Circle of Concern, UMCOR, Metro Ministries, Epworth Children’s Home, Kingdom House, LaClinica Spanish Mission, Shalom House, The Bridge, Pastor’s Emergency Fund at Living Word, mission trips for our youth and adults at Living Word UMC, participation at Christmas time in a charitable activity approved by the group, and specific improvement projects at our former and present church buildings. Mary Martha Circle generates funds for mission projects through voluntary pledging and occasional fund raising activities.
