This summer we’ll travel to Indianapolis, IN. Once there, we will get oriented to our serving site and our service partners, Youthworks. Our group will form teams to work alongside local agencies. We will have the opportunity to learn and serve by feeding people, caring for the elderly, ministering to children, and helping to provide basic needs to people who struggle to make ends meet. Evenings will be spent exploring the community and surrounding areas. This will allow for reflection on the daily experiences, as well as, experiencing worship with other churches. Housing, food, transportation, and excellent leadership is included in the cost of the trip. An adventure like this deepens the faith lives of all participants as they learn about poverty, culture in the area, and serving the community.
