ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This borehole was drilled near the site of the now completed secondary school in Sakote.  The original source of water for the people of Sakote did not provide water year-round, as it dried up every dry season, forcing the people of Sakote to walk long distances to get water for their families.

Now, the children of Sakote can have access to clean water when they are at school year-round.  Every time we visit Ghana, it serves as a place for celebration and joy.

Children and villagers surround Michael Logsdon at the Sakote borehole to welcome the Living Word team and to get their pictures taken.
