LW Youth

Students Grades 6-12

Hello! My name is Samantha Yoder and I am the Director of NextGen Ministries here at Living Word! I started at Living Word in September 2020 and have loved getting to know the families. I am from Illinois originally and have a cute dog named Rizzo (in the picture above).

Feel free to contact me at syoder@livingwordumc.org if you have any questions!

We all have questions and we are all still figuring out what we truly believe. This is a place where students dive deeper to learn, have fun, and take steps of faith. Youth Center doors open at 8:45 am. Teaching and small groups begin at 9:30 am. No registration required. We’ll save you a seat.

Students will find a place to belong here. Students celebrate and serve alongside new and old friends. Games, outings around town, service projects, and themed events provide an opportunity for students to invite friends and mobilize their faith.  Register for events below. Don’t miss out. Events typically follow the school year calendar running September- May.

There is a peer-led study, activity, and prayer time.  No registration required.  This is an environment to reconnect with friends and grow your faith.

For information about becoming involved in Living Word Youth, please contact Director of NextGen Ministries, Samantha Yoder
