Here are some upcoming events for LW Kids as we move into the summer.

LW Kids Choir performance, Sunday, May 21, 9:00 and 10:30 am Worship

Fifth Grade Finale, Sunday, June 4, 11:45-2:00 pm. 5th graders join middle school kids for a welcoming pizza party and get trained in the Good Shepherd volunteer process. Signup here. 

Family Worship, Sunday, June 11, at 9:00 and 10:30 am Worship. A great morning to hear the youth perform their music from the youth choir tour, which takes the place of the sermon for the week.

Family Fun Rocket Day, Sunday, June 11, 11:30-12:30 pm. Families are welcome to stay after church to build and launch rockets. We’ll demonstrate water-propelled and model rockets in the parking lot. Kids will get to design and launch their own paper rockets. Sno-cones and popcorn make this event a perfect way to get geared up for the space-themed VBS in a few weeks. 

Vacation Bible School, Monday-Friday, June 26-30, 9:00-11:45 am. Blastoff into a week of fun, music, crafts, games, experiments, and friendships as Living Word hosts a space-themed day camp. Signup here to participate or volunteer.

LW Kids, Preschool and Nursery will continue on Sunday mornings all summer. In August we’ll promote kids to the next grade level and welcome new families into the next phase of learning. If your family is looking for a way to deepen their faith and commitment, consider volunteering with us. We always have more ideas like preschool bell choirs, milestones for development, and special events that can use more leadership. Email Andy to get started and find the best way to serve.
